Three-year letter winner as a catcher on the Grand View softball team… Holds a .371 career batting average that includes 42 home runs and 162 runs batted in… In 2010, was an NAIA All-American 2^nd Team selection, a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American 1^st Team selection, and Midwest Collegiate Conference (MCC) 1^st Team selection… In 2011, was an NAIA All-America First Team selection, an NFCA All-America 2^nd Team selection, and an MCC 1^st Team selection… In 2012, was NAIA All-America 2^nd Team selection and NFCA All-Regions selection, an MCC 1^st Team selection… a 3x NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete and CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American in 2010, 2011, and 2012 while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. One of her favorite memories is when she hit a home run over Grand View’s tall netting in center field and the ball landed in the Luther Park parking lot…. Was a human services major at GV and previously worked at Easter Seals of Iowa and Ruan Transportation and now enjoys staying home raising her three children while volunteering at her church… Lives in Newton, IA and she and her husband Brent are parents to Boyd, Ellie, and Evelyn.
