Grand View University

Peterson was a two-year member of the Grand View football team in 2009 and 2010. After graduating from Grand View, Peterson went on to play professionally for the Iowa Barnstormers. Peterson was an instrumental part of the success of the program earning 1^st Team All-Conference honors in 2009 and 2010 along with being named 2010 Conference Defensive Player of the Year while earning 1^st Team All-American honors.
