MARSHALL, MISSOURI – Grand View kicked off an eventful week ahead with a dual versus 19th-ranked Missouri Valley College. The Vikings started the week on a high note after winning 9 out of the ten bouts to cruise to a 42-4 victory.
 
The Vikings recorded five wins by fall, including one from recently ranked No. 9 Judy Sandoval at 109, No. 3 Andrea Schlabach, Krista Warren at 143, No. 2 Abby McIntyre at 170, and Olivia Brown at 191. The only points MVC would harvest came from a 7-4 decision match at 101, earning them one point, and in their only match, they won at 155. Jalen Bets picked up a 7-4 decision win, followed by a pin from Judy Sandoval. Mayangelie Colon and Maya Davis recorded TF wins to hold MoVal off the board. Krista Warren recorded another Viking pin at 143 after dropping the match at 155. No. 2 Abby McIntyre and No. 3 Olivia Brown recorded pins, adding another 10 points to the Vikings total, scaping them to a 37-4 victory.
