COLUMBIA, MISSOURI - Grand View Women's Bowling Team traveled to Columbia, MO. Feb. 21-22 to compete in the Heart of America Conference Championships. The women were bracketed as 7
th seed in the double elimination mega-match format.
To win your bracket, you must win two points. One point for Five Traditional Games and one point for total pinfall of four baker games. If a tied a best out of five bakers is bowled.
Match 1 Grand View faced No.2 seed William Penn. First Mega Match was 5 Traditional Games, total pin fall wins match.

Annika Weber (221) pin total 902 beating Culver-Stockton by two pins winning the first point. Second match four baker games Grand View combined for a 697 beating Culver-Stockton by 57 pins and winning the second point and staying alive in the brackets.

Annika Weber (159) 927 winning the first point by 12 pins. Second match four bakers total 655 losing to Columbia's 828 and sending us to the best of five bakers tie breaker match. Grand View lost the first game 160/181 won the second game 224/191 lost the third game 145/165 won the fourth game188/179 the fifth game and tie breaker was a heartbreaker with the women shooting a 168 and losing to their 170 game.

The women's team chemistry was the best it has been all season and watching them battle to the last ball was amazing.

The women are not done with their season as they have also qualified for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Sectionals. We will be traveling to Addison, IL. March 12 to compete in our qualifier. 80 women's teams are divided and sent to four separate regions where the top four teams will go on to the USBC Intercollegiate Team Nationals being held in Green Bay, WI. April 13/18.
