INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Grand View women's bowling team traveled to Indianapolis, IN to compete in the prestigious 57 Annual Hoosier Classic on February 14th & 15th.
DAY 1 (5 traditional games) - Saturday was 5 Traditional teams with 64 women's teams competing. Leading the team for day 1 was Sophomore,
Chastyn Gering with a 1003/200.6 average, Sophomore Brainna Musgrave 960/192 average, Freshman
Annika Weber 919/184 average Senior Kylie Aria 892/179 average adding four games was Junior
Madison Pickett 710/178 average. Adding an additional game was Sophomore
Kennady Bigwood and doing fill frames were Senior
Michelle Stewart and Sophomore
Bianca Fuquey. The women came together with a team total of 4633/185.5 average.
Day 2 (15 Baker games and a sport pattern)- Going into Sunday's competition the women were sitting 17/64. Of the 15 Games the women were given a different sport pattern with greater difficulty. The women struggled the first two sets refocused the third set for a combined total of 2494/166.4 average and with a combined two day total put together a grand total of 7127/178 average. The women finished 26/64. It was great to see the women come together at this final pre-season tournament.
