TOPEKA, KANSAS – The Grand View University men's and women's bowling teams traveled to Topeka, Kansas, to compete in their second and third tournaments of the season on November 14-15. The Vikings participated in the NAIABCA #1 on Friday and the NAIABCA #2 on Saturday.
Women's Results
Friday's NAIABCA #1 featured the same 25 individual games format. Sophomore Kennady Bigwood led the Vikings with a five-game set of 909 and a 181.8 average. Senior Michelle Stewart followed with 884 (176.8 average), and junior Madison Pickett added 860 (172.0 average). Sophomore Chastyn Gering contributed 613 (153.3 average in four games), while freshman Annika Weber bowled three games for 485 (161.6 average). Sophomores Brianna Musgrave and Bianca Fuquey also added games to the team total.
The women combined for a team total of 4,149 with a 165.9 average, placing 12th out of 20 teams. Individually, Bigwood finished 25th, Stewart placed 33rd, and Pickett finished 39th.
Saturday's NAIABCA #2 featured a 25 baker games format. The women combined for a team total of 4,057 with a 162.2 average, placing 15th out of 20 teams.
