Young, Foster, and Green Secure All-HOA Honors

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – The Heart of America Athletic Conference unveiled its 2025 Heart All-Conference selections today, February 27. Three Vikings earned all-conference honors, led by junior Jaxson Young with a spot on the Second Team. Senior Ayden Foster and freshman Jackson Green rounded out the accolades, both securing Third Team recognition.
 
JAXSON YOUNG | JR | GUARD | MARION, IOWA | SECOND TEAM
Jaxson Young's performance throughout the 2025 season solidified his place as a Second Team All-Conference selection. Averaging 15.8 points per game on an efficient 47.6% shooting, he was a consistent offensive leader for the Vikings. Young showcased his scoring ability early with a 37-point performance against Midland and maintained his production with 26 double-digit scoring games. Beyond his scoring, he contributed 121 assists, proving his playmaking value, and added 41 steals on the defensive end. His ability to impact the game in multiple ways made him one of the conference's top point guards and deserving of his Second Team recognition.

AYDEN FOSTER | SR | F | ALBANY, OREGON | THIRD TEAM
Foster's steady production throughout the season earned him Third Team All-Conference honors. Averaging 12.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, he made a significant impact on both ends of the court. While his efforts didn't always dominate the stat sheet, he was a key glue guy for the Vikings, providing consistency and reliability throughout the 2024-25 season. His 51.2% shooting and 84.5% free throw percentage underscored his efficiency, while standout performances, including 24-point outings against Culver-Stockton and Missouri Valley, showcased his scoring ability. Defensively, his 21 steals and three blocks further emphasized his all-around contributions, making him an invaluable part of the team's success.

JACKSON GREEN | FR | SG | GRIMES, IOWA | THIRD TEAM
Green's confidence and sharpshooting ability set him apart in his freshman campaign, making an immediate impact for the Vikings. The local product wasted no time proving he belonged, displaying a level of poise beyond his years. Averaging 12.8 points per game, Green quickly became a go-to threat from beyond the arc, knocking down 68 three-pointers at a 38.2% clip. His deep shooting range stretched defenses, and his fearless approach made him a constant offensive weapon. Standout performances, including a career-high 33 points against Central Methodist, highlighted his ability to take over games. His poise and scoring ability made him a key contributor from the start, setting a strong foundation for the years ahead.
