KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – Blake Willey of Grand View has been named the NAIA Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. Willey was selected based on his performances from January 13-19 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Blake Willey, a senior for the Vikings has been named the NAIA Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. Competing at the Chelsey M. Henkenius Open, Willey claimed victory in the shot put with an impressive toss of 17.04 meters. This throw not only improved his "A" standard distance but also stands as the top mark in the NAIA this winter.
