MARION, INDIANA – The Vikings qualified four individuals for the 2025 NAIA Track and Field Championships.
Addisyn Terpstra competed in the 100m Hurdles.
Fadi Mott competed in the 200m.
Blake Willey competed in the Shot Put, and
Nathan Limas competed in the 5000m race-walk. The week began on Wednesday and continued through Friday for the Vikings.
Fadi Mott – 200m
Mott entered the semifinal on Wednesday and was the first to compete for the Vikings. Fadi finished with a 22.14 s race and in a tight field, he missed a spot in the final. Mott was a first-year track athlete and exceeded expectations all year.
Addisyn Terpstra – 100m Hurdles
Addisyn competed in the semi-final and preliminary round on Wednesday. The top 9 times qualified for the final race on Thursday. Terpstra had the sixth fastest time in the field with a 14.01 s finish.
Terpstra went on to compete in the final and ran a very similar 14.03 in the final, which was good enough to earn herself an 8th place finish and become a 2025 NAIA All-American in the 100m hurdles.
Nathan Limas – 5000m Racewalk
Limas finished off his season on Thursday with a fantastic effort. Nathan crossed the finish line with a 22:19.01. That time was enough to put him in 7th place across the field.
Nathan Limas earned himself a 2025 NAIA All-American status in the 5000m racewalk and a wonderful season.
Blake Willey – Shot Put
Willey competed in the Shot Put on Friday. They had a semifinal pool and took nine to the final. After the qualifying round, Willey nudged his way into the final, sitting in the ninth spot.
In the final, Blake marked over 16.00m in every throw on the flight and marked a 16.80 as his furthest attempt of the round. Despite being more consistent, he stayed put at ninth, just missing All-American honors. Willey completed his Grand View career as a stand-out student-athlete.
