PELLA, IA: After weather knocked out the Vikings first meet of the year they came back and opened the season Good Friday weekend. The Vikings opened with a handful of national qualifiers and conference leading marks. 

NATIONAL QUALIFERS: 
Blake Willey Placed 3^rd in the shot put with a throw of 16.22 meters. This throw hit the A standard national qualifying mark. 

Isaiah Roundtree placed 2^nd in the high jump with a leap of 2.05 meters. This jump hit the national qualifying mark sending him to the second national championship meet of his freshman season. 

Madison Green hit A standard in a pair of events as she threw 44.88 meters in discus, while throwing 50.84 meters in the hammer throw. 

CHAMPIONS: 
Isaac took the 800-meter win with a time of 1:57.72

Green Picked up wins in the women's discus and hammer throw.

NOTABLE MARKS: 
Caden Sussex takes 2^nd in the discus with a throw of 44.56 meters.
Nathan Wilde places 6^th place in the hammer throw with a throw of 52.31 meters. 
Jayton Poole placed 4^th in the long jump with a leap of 6.45 meters. 
Mason Thompson placed 4^th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.43. 
Jeovanni Heyes opened up his freshman outdoor season with a 4^th place finish in the 400 meter hurdles. 
Salima Omari Placed 3^rd int the Javelin with a throw of 33.75 meters. 
Kalin Rotzoll placed 3^rd overall in the women's 5k with a PR and time of 19:28. 
Neomi Sidiqu placed 2^nd in the open 400 with a time of 1:00.70
