DES MOINES, IOWA - Grand View University's women's basketball team has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 2025-26 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, finishing 6th nationally among NAIA programs with a cumulative team GPA of 3.746.

"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew. Grand View's season backs that up.

The recognition, announced by the WBCA on July 21, marks the 31st year the organization has compiled the honor roll, which credits college women's basketball programs across five divisions (NCAA Division I, II, III, the NAIA, and two-year colleges) for carrying the highest combined GPA's among every student-athlete on the roster.

The classroom success came alongside a great season on the court. Under head coach Jasmine Stohr, Grand View finished the season at 22-9 (18-2 in conference play) and qualified for the 2025-26 NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship, earning a berth as the No. 14 seed in the Madison, South Dakota bracket.
A college basketball season is not built for academic ease. Between film sessions, practices, and road trips across the Midwest, the Grand View women's basketball team still posted one of the best GPA's in the NAIA, while also being one of the best teams in the NAIA.
