Vikings Shooting Sports Made Strides on Homecoming Weekend

OSKALOOSA, IOWA - Saturday saw the Viking Shooting Sports Team at the William Penn Invitational
The Team shot Skeet and Sporting Clays on Saturday with a return trip on Sunday to finish out the tournament with Trap shooting.
MaKenna Six was the High Gun for the Team in Skeet Shooting with a good score hitting 92 of the 100 targets.
Braeden Hirsch was the Vikings high Gun in Trap, breaking 94 of 100 targets and in Sporting Clays as well with 74 targets of the 100 broken.
"Still early in the season but we are starting to hit stride, and the Team is working hard.
We have a Big goal this year with Shotgun becoming a Heart Athletic Conference Sport this year, and I feel like this Team can make a pretty good run at it. We continue to get better every time we pull the trigger.
Hard Work works, and I hope we take this momentum all the way into our spring season."
