OSKALOOSA, IOWA – The top team from the Heart of America and the nation traveled to Oskaloosa, IA, to kick off the 2025 Conference Championships, setting their sights on a historic tenth title. The Vikings dominated the opening day, delivering a flawless performance as all 12 wrestlers advanced to the semifinals while amassing an impressive 223 match points, 117 team points, and a 15-0 record.
On the opening day of action, the Vikings dominated with the most tech falls in the shortest amount of time, recording eight in just 35 minutes and 35 seconds.
Jameel Coles led all wrestlers with 28 match points, followed closely by teammate GK with 22.
Grand View entered the 2025 Heart of America Conference Championship with an impressive roster, including five returning champions:

In the opening round, all Vikings earned byes except for
Trayvonne Jackson, who made his tournament debut in dominant fashion with a 17-5 major decision.
Continuing their legacy of excellence, the Vikings made history once again, advancing all 12 wrestlers to the semifinals for the second consecutive year.
