DES MOINES, IOWA – This past Sunday, January 26th, Grand View University's Cheer and Dance programs hosted their highly anticipated annual competition, featuring outstanding displays of talent and energy. Kicking off the season in a dual format, the Grand View competitive Cheer team delivered strong performances, starting with an impressive score of 83.90, followed closely by an 83.45 in the final round.
In the opening round of the competition, the Vikings went head-to-head with Simpson University from California, delivering their strongest performance with a score of 83.90. They then faced off against the Owls of William Woods, earning a solid 83.45 in the next round. With a combined total of 167.35, the Vikings secured a second-place finish after both rounds.
