OSKALOOSA, IOWA - Grand View University competitive cheer traveled to William Penn University to compete in their final competition of the year. The Vikings posted their highest score of the season at 84.09 points, placing first out of four teams. 

The Vikings placed first out of four teams this past weekend in Oskaloosa. Rounding out the top four was William Penn in second with a score of 73.41, Clarke in third with 39.12, and Graceland in fourth with a 28.95. 

UP NEXT 
The Vikings are gearing up for the Heart of America Conference Championship, which will take place on March 9th at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas.

"Our team has faced a lot of challenges this season and it was nice to finally reap the rewards of their hard work with a WIN. I told the team early in the season they deserved to be scoring in the 80's and I couldn't be prouder of them that they got there this past weekend scoring an 84! We are very motivated and excited to keep working hard on making ourselves and the routine the best it can be heading into Conference!"
