Women's Soccer Surrenders Two Goals in Loss to Culver-Stockton College

DES MOINES, IOWA – The Grand View Women's Soccer team faced a tough defeat tonight, falling 2-0 to Culver-Stockton College. Despite a resilient defensive effort and limited offensive opportunities, the Wildcats managed to score twice to secure the win.

The match was evenly contested in terms of possession, with both teams showing determination and physicality. Culver-Stockton opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Lola Weise netted the first goal of the game, assisted by Audrey Glasmann. The Vikings fought hard to respond but struggled to generate scoring chances against the Wildcats' organized defense.

The second half saw Culver-Stockton extend their lead in the 51st minute with another goal from Audrey Glasmann, sealing the 2-0 victory. Throughout the game, Grand View's defense kept Culver-Stockton's attack in check for much of the match, but the Wildcats' relentless offensive pressure paid off with two well-placed goals.
