A Dominate Second Half Results in a 3-0 Win vs. Missouri Baptist

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – The Grand View Men's Soccer team faced a tough first half but came alive in the second, scoring three unassisted goals to secure a convincing 3-0 victory over Missouri Baptist. After a scoreless opening period, the team demonstrated resilience and offensive firepower, ultimately dominating the second half and earning their win.

The first half was a tightly contested defensive battle, with neither team able to find the net despite several attempts. Grand View's defense held strong, and their goalkeeper Luis Helm made two key saves to keep the game level at halftime. Both teams entered the break locked in a scoreless draw, setting the stage for an exciting second half.

The breakthrough came in the 54th minute when Wilmont Manneh put Grand View ahead with an unassisted goal, igniting the offense. Just over 23 minutes later, Justin Figaroa extended the lead with an unassisted strike in the 77th minute. The final goal came in the 87th minute, once again from Wilmont Manneh, completing his hat trick and sealing the 3-0 victory. Throughout the second half, Grand View controlled possession, registered 8 shots with 2 finding the back of the net, and maintained disciplined defense.
