DES MOINES, IOWA – The Grand View Men's Soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw tonight against Culver-Stockton College, in a game that showcased both teams' resilience and competitive spirit. Despite a strong offensive effort from Grand View and an early goal, Culver-Stockton responded quickly, resulting in a hard-fought tie.
The match kicked off with an energetic start, and just five minutes into the game, Grand View took the lead.
Tim Schoorlemmer scored the first goal, assisted by
Payton Chapman, giving the Vikings an early advantage. However, the Wildcats responded swiftly, equalizing in the 7th minute with a goal from Aldi Bajraktari, assisted by Jakson Baber.
