OSKALOOSA, IOWA – Grand View's wrestling dynasty continued in Oskaloosa as the top-ranked Vikings secured their 10th consecutive Heart of America title. With a dominant performance, the team amassed 239.5 points, recorded 492 match points, and posted an impressive 34-4 overall record, surpassing last year's success in remarkable fashion.

Grand View secured its 10th consecutive conference title, continuing its dominant streak with championships in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016* (*Dual Tournament). The Vikings demolished their previous year's team score from 212 points to 239.5 points.

The Vikings crowned six individual champions:

• 125 lbs – Aden Reeves (2x HOA Champ)
• 141 lbs – Carson Taylor (4x HOA Champ)
• 149 lbs – Elijah Larsen (1st-time HOA Champ)
• 165 lbs – Cam Robinson (1st-time HOA Champ)
• 174 lbs – Alex Reynolds (2x HOA Champ)
• 197 lbs – Garavous Kouekabakilaho (2x HOA Champ)

Additionally, Grand View had three finalists:

• 125 lbs – Gabe Gonzales
• 165 lbs – Dylan Whitt
• 197 lbs – Trayvonne Jackson

 
Placing third for the Vikings were 133-pounder Jackson Cockrell and 184-pounder Jameel Coles, both delivering strong performances throughout the tournament. 149-pounder Darnai Heard battled through the bracket to secure a fifth-place finish, adding valuable points to Grand View's dominant team effort.

Grand View's five individual champions showcased dominance and skill on their path to claiming HOA titles. Aden Reeves (125 lbs) was unstoppable, winning by technical fall in both the quarterfinals and semifinals before securing the championship via forfeit. Carson Taylor (141 lbs) continued his reign with his fourth HOA title, winning each match in dominant fashion, including a tech fall shutout in the finals. Elijah Larsen (149 lbs) displayed a well-rounded performance, earning two falls on his way to the finals before capping off his title run with a commanding tech fall victory. Cam Robinson (165 lbs) overwhelmed his competition, securing a fall in the quarterfinals and a tech fall in the semis before claiming the championship via forfeit. Alex Reynolds (174 lbs) powered through his bracket, winning by tech fall in the quarters and semis before sealing his second HOA title with a decisive decision victory in the finals.
