DES MOINES, IOWA—Top-ranked Grand View University hosted 12th-ranked Baker University on Wednesday evening for a senior night match. The Vikings dominated across the board, only dropping one of the ten bouts. Three seniors captured wins to add to the 37-6 victory.

The Grand View women's wrestling team delivered a commanding 37-6 victory over Baker University in tonight's dual, winning nine of ten matches and showcasing their depth across multiple weight classes. No. 5 Devyn Moore set the tone at 103 pounds with a quick technical fall in 1:56, followed by No. 10 Tristan Nitta, earning a pin in just 1:09 at 110 pounds. At 124, No. 4 Catie Campbell wasted no time, securing a technical fall in only 22 seconds. No. 2 Maya Davis, the reigning NAIA runner-up, continued the momentum with a technical fall in 1:59 at 131 pounds, while No. 1 Abby McIntyre earned a fall at 180 pounds in 2:27. Building on her strong performance last week against the top-ranked Missouri Valley wrestler, No. 2 Olivia Brown capped the dual with a dominant pin at 207 pounds in just 1:15.

Despite a hard-fought decision loss at 117 pounds to No. 4 Heath, the Vikings showcased their depth and versatility, winning nine of the ten bouts.

Grand View women's wrestling concludes home dual action for the first semester after this evening's victory. The Vikings will resume quickly with this weekend's trip to Crete, NE, for the Conner Oppenheim Open on Saturday, December 7th; action begins at 9:00 a.m.
