CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - Grand View University Men's and Women's bowling teams traveled to Cedar Rapids, IA, on October 28th and 29th to compete in the Five Seasons Classic.
Saturday was five individual team games. Leading the team for the day was
Nicholas Prochnow(SR) with a 1014-pin fall 208.2 average, followed by
Tim Lincoln(SR) with a 1015-pin fall 203 average.
Lucas Kramer(SR) added a 933/187 average. Bowlers adding additional games were Johnathen Hemmingsen(SR),
Andru Wilder(SO),
Caden Ziegler(SR) and
Bennett Olsen(FR). The men finished the day with a 4833/193.3 average. Sunday, the men bowled 20 baker games and rolled a 3810/190.5 average. The men had a total pinfall of 8643/ 192.6, earning them 5
th place out of 14 teams. This was the best scoring and most consistent from the men so far this year. Individually,
Nicholas Prochnow finished 11
th /178 and
Tim Lincoln 15th/178.

Kaytlyn Andrews (SR) with a 1041 total pinfall 208.2 average, followed by
Ariel Engel (GR) with a 997pin fall/199.4 average. Adding additional team games were
Isabel Tetmeyer (JR),
Rachel Gore (JR),
Emilee Hall (JR), and
Michelle Stewart (SO) for a team total of 4714/189.6 average. Sunday, the women bowled 20 baker games, scoring a 4003/200.1 average with a combined two-day total of 8717/193.7 average, earning the women 3
rd place out of 14 teams. This was the women's highest finish of the season and their highest scoring.
Individually,
Kaytlyn Andrews finished 7th /116, and
Ariel Engel finished 12
th /116.
