- Grand View and Dickinson State will meet in the NAIA FCS for the second time on Saturday in Des Moines.
- Grand View is one of THREE unbeaten NAIA schools heading into the Second Round of the FCS.
- GVU leads the Heart in PPG (44.4), which sits FIFTH in the NAIA.
- Grand View sits 18-4 in the month of November under head coach Joe Woodley.
- The Vikings took a weekly honor from the league office in four of the 11 weeks this season, QB Jackson Waring was a 3x straight honoree.

- The Vikings scored 57 touchdowns this season: 22 rushing, 33 passing, and two defensive TDs.
- Jackson Waring the HOA MVP of the league, leads statistically in multiple categories, including No. 1 in pass efficiency (205.0), TD to Int. ratio (31:4), and yards per attempt (11.2) while only averaging two and a half quarters this fall.
- Tristin Waugh, the HOA Defensive Player of the Year, leads the country in sacks with 14 and sack-yards with 91 total.
- This marks Grand View's 12th time, and 11th time straight in the FCS - the 4th appearance under HC Joe Woodley.
2023 5TH-CONSECUTIVE HOA CHAMPIONS!
- GVU earned its 5th-straight Heart of America North Division Championship.
- It's the fifth HOA title for head coach Joe Woodley since taking over for his father in 2019.
- Grand View led the Heart in (TDs, XPTs, PTs, PPG, YPG, YDs/ATT, Rushing TDs, Rush. Yds/G, YDS, 3RD %, PATs, PEN.) while playing one less game than 8 of the teams N/S of the Heart of America.
FAST STARTS
- Grand View has gotten off to fast starts this season, outscoring opponents 151-7 in the first quarter this season.
- The only team to have scored on the Viking defense in the first quarter was Missouri Baptist.

STOPPING THE RUN GAME
- DSU's offensive strength is their run game, 5th in the NAIA in rushing TDs (32), 6th in yards per rush (5.7), and 9th in total season rushing yards (2226).
- Dickinson State averages 206 rushing yards a game and marked 228 in their opening round of the FCS.
- The Blue Hawks Braden Zuroff (#18), ranks 3rd in rushing TDs, and 6th in rushing yards.
- Grand View's tenacious defensive only allows 53.7 rushing yards a game and has only allowed one rushing TD this season.
