DUBUQUE, IA – The Grand View women's soccer team hit the pitch in Dubuque, IA today\, the Vikings would fall after a slow start to the Pride, 2-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Pride would push the tempo early as they would get a goal in the 10th minute, and the Pride would get multiple shots in the first half of play. Fritz would amount to four saves in just the first half.
As the second half began the Vikings were put on their heels early as the Pride would tally a shot followed by a corner kick and a second shot. The Pride would test their odds early and it would pay off with a goal in the 74th minute. The Vikings would get a shot on goal by
Caitlyn Hanafan, but the Pride goalie would be there for the clean-up.
At the end of the 90 Minutes, the Vikings were unable to find a flow offensively and would fall to the Pride, 2-0.
