Canton, MO- The Vikings traveled south to close out their regular season with a showdown with the Culver-Stockton Wildcats. At the end of the 90 minutes the Vikings walked away with a 1-1 tie. 

How It Happened: 
The Wildcats got on the board first as they snuck a goal past the Vikings in the 8th Minute of play. The Vikings would settle in and give themselves a prime opportunity in the 16th minute to find an equalizer. Gracie Bernard put a great ball into the box off of a corner and Maddie Morales was able to put her head on the ball for her second goal of the season. The rest of the half was a defensive showdown as there was only 4 total shots to end the first 4 minutes of play. The second half of play the Vikings defense would take center stage as they held the Wildcats without a goal in any of their 7 second half shots. Maya Fritz would also protect the net well as she collected 3 saves in the second half. The Vikings would end the game with one quality shot in the second half but were unable to connect as they finished the game tied 1-1.

• 3 different Vikings recorded shots
• Vikings would score on their only corner kick of the game
