LAMONI, IA - The Vikings traveled south for a Wednesday night match-up against the Yellowjackets, the Vikings looking to bounce back from a tough loss against the Central Methodist Eagles, they would be rewarded with a victory over the Yellowjackets after a solid defensive performance, 1-0.
How It Happened:
The Vikings came out hot with a 50 second into the game shot on goal by
Samuel Londono,
Lucas Newhard would shag Londono's miss and grab a goal of his own to put the Yellowjackets on their heels early. The Vikings tallied 12 shots in just the first half alone, compared to Graceland's lone shot that wasn't on goal. Grand View would amount to one more corner kick than the Yellowjackets, resulting in their scoring opportunities.
The Yellowjackets would strike first in the second half, but
Bosco Pery would clean things up. Two Vikings would get early shots in the goings of the second half. The Vikings would outshoot the Yellowjackets again in the second half, 6-2. Pery would go for two saves. The Viking's strong back-four would result in a road victory, 1-0.

- Bosco Perry recorded two saves in the match and a clean sheet.
