Andrea Luellen enters her third season as an assistant women’s wrestling coach at Grand View University.
Luellen (Schlabach) has been a part of the Grand View women’s wrestling program since its second year and has helped set the tone and establish the foundation of what the program is today. Before making her mark in wrestling, Luellen developed a strong background in Judo, competing as a member of Team USA Judo’s National Team and representing the United States in international competition, including competition in Argentina. Her Judo background provided a strong foundation in grappling and international competition that carried over into her highly successful wrestling career.
As a student-athlete, Luellen built an accomplished career, earning numerous national and international accolades, including:
· 4x NAIA National All-American
· 3x USA Senior National All-American
· 2x Bill Farrell International Champion
· 3x USA Senior World Team Trials Qualifier
· 4th at the USA Senior World Team Trials
· 1x USA U23 All-American
· #TheFirst in program history to reach 100 career wins
· #TheFirst in program history to become a 4x NAIA All-American
Luellen was a key contributor to the early success and growth of the Grand View women’s wrestling program, helping establish a culture of excellence that continues today.
Luellen is married to Grand View men’s wrestling standout Isaiah Luellen, a 5x All-American, 2x NAIA National Finalist, and 2024 NAIA National Champion.
Originally from Hamilton, Ohio, Luellen graduated from Grand View University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
