Grand View University

Caitlyn Dayton enters her 3rd year with the Viking women’s soccer program. Dayton has extensive experience in Goalkeeper Coaching. In 2020, the Grand View Alumni was the Head Goalkeeper coach at GPS Iowa as well as an assistant to U11/12 boys and high school girls’ teams at the club – Head Coaching for the U16 girls’ team.

In 2019, Dayton worked for the Altoona Soccer Club as a Head Goalkeeper Coach. During this year she also was the assistant to U11/12 boys as well as being the Head U11/12 girls’ coach. Prior to being head coach, Dayton served as the Assistant Coach for the U11/12 girls’ team at the Altoona Soccer Club.

Dayton was a former player under Ventsi Stoimirov from 2014-2018. The two-year starter received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a minor in Management from Grand View University.

A native of Crystal Lake, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, she now resides in Ankeny. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Sport Management while coaching at GV.
