Coach Greenway enters her 8th season with the Viking's coaching staff and her 4th season as Head Coach. Prior to being named Head Coach in July of 2018, Greenway was an assistant and an Associate Head Coach alongside the legendary Garey Smith who retired at the end of the 2017-2018 season after 18 years at the helm of the program.  In his last season, the duo helped lead the Vikings to their first-ever appearance in the NAIA Division I National Championship in Grand View's third year at NAIA DI. 

In Greenways past season, the Vikings made an NAIA Women's Basketball Opening Round appearance and finished the season 20-8 overall and 14-5 in the conference. 

Greenway came to Grand View in 2014 after a successful stint at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) in Mason City. The Trojans finished their 2013-14 season with a 34-3 record as they captured both an ICCAC Region XI regular-season title and an ICCAC Region XI tournament title earning them a trip to the national tournament. The Trojans went 3-1 in the national tournament with a third-place finish.

Prior to becoming head coach at NIACC in 2011, Greenway served three years as an assistant for long-time NIACC coach John Oertel under whom she also played for from 2003-2005. Upon graduation from NIACC in 2005, Greenway was named female NIACC student-athlete of the year.

Originally from Peterson, Iowa, Greenway attended The University of Iowa where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Sport’s studies in 2008. During her three years at Iowa, Greenway worked as a manager for the women’s basketball team under head coach Lisa Bluder as well as interned with Iowa Hawkeye Strength and Conditioning.

Kelli has two step-children, Mia and Maddox, and recently added a new member to the family, Leo Greenway. She resides in Altoona with her husband, Chad.
