Ian Keiderling enters his first season as the Graduate Assistant with Grand View Women’s Basketball.
Prior to Grand View, Ian spent the past four seasons as the Student Assistant Coach with Graceland University. During his time at Graceland, Keiderling assisted in all aspects of the program. In academics, Graceland Women’s Basketball received the honor of ranking 9th in the WBCA 2020-21 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll with a team GPA of a 3.66. Coach Ian worked with seven All-Conference honorees, one All-Conference-Defensive honoree, six All-Conference Scholar Athletes, and five Daktronics Scholar Athletes. During his time at Graceland, his team led the conference in steals per game in the 2021-22 season, while mentoring multiple players that were the conference leaders in steals and assists per game, as well as second in blocks per game that year. As a Graceland graduate, Ian received bachelor’s degrees in Sport Management and Business Administration along with educational endorsements in coaching and business 5-12.
Prior to Graceland, Coach Ian assisted with Waukee High School Girls’ Basketball program for two seasons (2016-2018). In this time, he assisted the program in making two consecutive 5A Iowa High School State Tournament appearances. At Waukee, Keiderling assisted in scouting and player skill development working with athletes who have gone on to play basketball at multiple levels of collegiate competition, including three Division 1 athletes and 5 Division 2 athletes.
As a graduate assistant, Coach Ian is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Management
