Kyle Hanagami

Kyle Hanagami is from Hilo, Hawaii and in his first season with the Vikings since finishing up eligibility in spring 2015.  Hanagami was a part of the 2012 inaugural season.  He was a four-year starting setter for the Vikings and currently holds the record for all-time assists for Grand View men's volleyball with 2,601 assists.  Kyle played an instrumental role on the team all four years of his career leading the Vikings to a conference final in his sophomore season.  In his junior and senior years, the Vikings won back-to-back conference championships and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament Semifinals.
 
In 2014, Hanagami was named First Team All-Conference and at the national tournament was named the NAIA Sportsman of the Year.  In 2013, he made All-Conference Honorable Mention.
 
Kyle's major is Kinesiology and Sport Management and is set to graduate in April.
 
Kyle is the son of Ken and Debbie Hanagami and has an older brother, Jay Hanagami.
