DES MOINES, IOWA – In a tough, physical game yesterday, the Grand View Women's Soccer team played great defense to earn a 0-0 draw against Morningside. The Vikings' backline was solid all game, repeatedly stopping the Mustangs' attacks and keeping them from scoring.

Grand View's defense, led by goalkeeper Maya Fritz, made five important saves and cleared danger several times. Despite Morningside taking 17 shots, the Vikings' organized defense kept them from finding the net. The game was intense, with lots of fouls—Grand View committed 12—but the team stayed focused and disciplined under pressure.
