KANSAS CITY/MISSOURI | MARION, INDIANA – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially unveiled the teams and bracket for the 2025 NAIA Women's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds, presented by Ballogy. The 64-team tournament kicks off with opening-round action at host sites nationwide on March 14-15. Winners from the Second Round will advance to the championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa, where the NAIA Championship—presented by Bomgaars and Sterling—will take place at the Tyson Events Center from March 20-25, marking the event's 44th edition.
Grand View secured an at-large bid as the No. 8 seed in the Liston Quadrant and is set to travel to Marion, Indiana, for a First-Round matchup against No. 9 seed Olivet Nazarene. The game will be held at Luckey Arena, home of the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats.
This tournament will mark the Vikings' 12th championship appearance. In the Liston Bracket, the Vikings' four potential opponents include the No. 1 seed and host, Indiana Wesleyan (Crossroads Regular Season Champion/Tournament Champion, 29-2), the 9th-seed Olivet Nazarene (IL) (Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Regular-Season Runner-up, 20-10), and the 16th-seed Philander Smith University (HBCU Athletic Conference Tournament Champion, 20-10).
In the tournament's First Round, the Vikings will take on the Olivet Nazarene (IL) Tigers in the second match-up of the day on March 14th. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. CT) at Luckey Arena in Marion, Indiana.
