YPSILANTI, MICHIGAN - The Grand View University competitive dance team traveled back to Michigan to compete in the 2025 NAIA National Championships. The Vikings began their fun on Friday afternoon as they performed in the preliminary round. GV struck an 87.2 from the judges that put them in third place. The Vikings improved their routine in the final round to a stellar 88.40! This was enough to earn themselves a solo third place finish!  

The Vikings have shown consistency as they have made the national championships for nine straight seasons. Grand View was nearly 5.0 points about the fourth place finisher. They compiled great scores in all categories but had over a 9.0 tally from all three judges in their Jazz sequence, which proved to be their best field.

The Grand View dance team represented the university so well over the weekend and have hardware to show for it. Well deserved.
