Men’s Soccer Dominates with 4-0 Win Against #25 Missouri Valley College

DES MOINES, IOWA – The Grand View Men's Soccer team delivered an impressive performance yesterday afternoon, securing a commanding 4-0 victory over Missouri Valley College on their home turf. The Vikings showcased a balanced attack and solid defense, dominating possession and creating numerous scoring chances throughout the match.

Grand View opened the scoring in the 35th minute when Braden Schoene found the back of the net, giving the Vikings an early lead. The team kept up the pressure after halftime, and in the 48th minute, Justin Figaroa extended the lead with an assist from Payton Chapman. Just a few minutes later, in the 52nd minute, Herman Furumo added to the advantage, assisted by Tim Schoorlemmer. The Vikings continued to push forward, and in the 67th minute, Kevin Ventura scored with an assist from Cuba Bak Sorensen, sealing the comprehensive 4-0 win.

Grand View's defense was exceptional, with goalkeeper Luis Helm making two saves to preserve the clean sheet.
