DES MOINES, IOWA – This past Sunday, January 26th, the Grand View University Cheer and Dance programs hosted their annual competition, showcasing incredible talent and energy. Competing in a dual format this season, the Grand View competitive dance team delivered impressive performances. The Vikings finished the day 2-0 with scores of 84.25 in Round I and 87.65 in Round II. Notably, they also achieved the highest placement among Heart of America Conference teams in the competition.
In the opening round of the competition, the Vikings faced off against Graceland University, earning an overall score of 84.25. For their second performance, the squad competed in a triangular against Morningside University and the College of Saint Mary. Taking the judges' feedback into account, the Vikings made key adjustments, boosting their overall score to an impressive 87.65 in Round II.
