TOPEKA, KANSAS - Grand View University had plenty to celebrate Friday after a strong preliminary round performance at the 10th Annual Nfinity NAIA Competitive Dance National Championship, held at Stormont Vail Events Center in Topeka, Kansas. The Vikings posted an 89.80 to claim fourth place overall and will carry 25% of that score into Saturday's championship final.
Performing fourth to last at 3:50 PM, Grand View will take the floor in a prime spot as the competition builds toward its conclusion. With the finals running in reverse order of preliminary scores, the Vikings will be among the last teams to compete before the top three programs close out the evening.
Grand View is absolutely in the race headed into tomorrow. Cheer will compete first, along with receiving season awards.The Dance Awards ceremony is set for 5:00 PM, after capping off the 10th annual event. Dance will start at 2:30 PM and Grand View will perform at 3:50 PM.
