DES MOINES, IOWA - The Grand View women's volleyball team hosted their second home match of the season Friday evening against the Wildcats of Culver-Stockton College. Grand View would dominate early and remain in control as they cruised to a 3-0 victory. Set scores were 25-13, 25-17, and 25-18.

Brooklyn Roder, assisted by
Jenna Bentz, quickly followed by a service ace from Zoe Irvin. Grand View maintained momentum with excellent offensive plays, including multiple kills by Roder and
Sydney Beasley. Despite a few service errors and Culver-Stockton's attempts to close the gap, Grand View's aggressive attacks, highlighted by Bentz's back-to-back service aces, kept them in control. The set ended with a decisive kill from Roder, securing a 25-13 victory in the opening frame.

Grand View's dynamic offense, led by the reliable arms of Brooklyn Roder and Sydney Beasley, kept the Wildcats on their heels. Culver-Stockton called a timeout to regroup, but Grand View's defense, anchored by blocks from Reese Casey and Ellie Dougherty.
Grand View capitalized on multiple attack errors by the Wildcats as the set progressed, while service aces from Polich and kills from Dougherty extended the Vikings' lead. Though Culver-Stockton fought back with a late surge, closing the gap to 23-17, it wasn't enough to stop the Vikings' momentum. A crucial block by Dougherty and Casey on Addie Force sealed the 25-17 win, putting Grand View up 2-0 in the match.

Sydney Beasley, who capitalized on precise setting from

Kaylee Stalder helped keep Culver-Stockton at bay as the Vikings controlled the tempo throughout the set. Despite a late surge from the Wildcats, Grand View remained composed, with Beasley delivering the final kill to secure the victory.
