DES MOINES, IA - The Vikings hosted the RV Benedictine Ravens for their homecoming match, the Ravens would get a hot start and would coast to a three set victory with scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-17. 
The freshman 
Kylie Hoben would be the kill leader for the Vikings, Hoben had 9 kills at .300%. Following closely behind her was another freshman, 
Brooklyn Roder with 8 kills for the Vikings.

Clarissa Hasty would fill the roll amounting for 8 digs. 
Jenna Bentz would be slightly under her assist average with 22, but Bentz would commit zero errors on the evening. 
Bentz, 
Heleine Filipe, and Sydney Bealsey would all wall up for 4 blocks apiece. Hoben would tally one more with five total, including a monster solo block in the second set. 
The night would be full of impressive rallies, but Benedictine would come out on top. The Ravens had 41 kills to the Vikings 34. The teams would remain even with blocks at nine apiece. 
The Vikings will remain in Des Moines for their next match, the team will host the Graceland Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on October 3rd.
