CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - The Vikings would hit the road to open their week following their 3-0 run in the Johnson Wellness Center. The Vikings would land in Cedar Rapids to take on the Mustangs of Mount Mercy University, a sluggish start and a offensive drought would allow the Mustangs to take the contest in a sweep, 25-22, 25-19, and 25-18. 

Heleine Filipe would lead the offensive side of things for the Vikings with her 6 kills total. Brooklyn Roder, and Kylie Hoben would both add 5 kills apiece. 

Chevy Wagner-Chun would go for 13 digs on the evening. Jenna Bentz would assist on 12 kills. 

The Vikings would struggle to get things going offensively, and it would be the factor in the contest this evening. The Vikings would go for 27 kills to the Mustangs 44. 

The Vikings will travel back to Des Moines to get ready for their homecoming match-up against the Ravens of Benedictine College, the first serve is in the books for 7:00 p.m..
