Ankeny, IA - The Vikings hit the course for their lone home meet of the season where the women were able to earn a 4th place finish as a team while the men finished in 5th. 

For the women's team Kalin Rotzoll led the team with a 5th place finish and a time of 20:26. Liberty Leis was another top 10 finisher as she placed 8th overall with a time of 21:01. Freshman Avery O'Rourke earned a 13th place finish with a time of 21:15, followed by Melody Ruelle who placed 38th in the race. And rounding out the scoring for the Vikings was Freshman Natalie Plum who placed 56th overall in the meet. 

The Men's Squad was led by 6th year senior Gonzalo Gaytan who placed 10th overall with a time of 28:06, followed by Nathan Limas in 17th with a time of 28:49. Freshman Matthew Bonner was third for the team placing 22nd with a time of 29:18. Freshman Jake Buchholtz was 33rd overall with a time of 30:29. And rounding out the runners for the men's team was Connor Keller in 38th and Seth Diser in 50th. 

The Vikings will be back in action on October 7th as they travel to Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA.
