KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athletes on Thursday. Milligan (Tenn.) and The Master's (Calif.) led the way with 15 honorees. Taylor (Ind.) finished a close second with 12.
The 2023 list features 491 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
Grand View's cross-country squad earned a total of six Daktronics Scholar-Athletes. The men and women were split at six apiece, making the list Faith Neeley, Kalin Rotzoll, Liberty Leis, Isaac Davis, Nathan Limas, and Seth Diser.
