Originally from Brazil, 2025 marked Coach Silva’s first season with the Vikings, where he helped guide the program through a historic campaign. Grand View reached the NAIA National title for the first time in school history, finishing the season with an impressive 18-4-3 record.
The season concluded unforgettably as the Vikings captured their first-ever NAIA National Championship on December 8, 2025, in Orange Beach, Alabama. Grand View defeated No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan (1–0), No. 1 Bethel (1–0), No. 9 Georgia Gwinnett (2–0), No. 12 Cumberlands (1–0), and No. 11 West Virginia Tech (2–1) en route to the national title.
Before joining Grand View, Silva made an immediate impact at Graceland University, serving as an Assistant Coach and Head Coach of the reserve program. He played a key role in achieving the program’s best winning percentage since 2009, while the varsity squad posted an overall record of 7-5-5 under the staff’s leadership.
At Grand View, Coach Silva continues to emphasize player development and team performance while leading the reserve program and supporting the varsity coaching staff. He is also pursuing his master’s degree in Sports Management at Grand View University.
