Grand View University

Kelsey Nichols enters her 8th year with the Vikings and begins her second year as head coach. Prior to being head coach, she spent six years as an assistant coach at Grand View University (2017-2022) and another six years coaching Bondurant-Farrar High School (2011-2017).

Nichols acquired her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading from Grand View (’15). During this time, she was a four-year member of the GVDT and captain for two.

Dance has been a vital part of Nichols’ life; creating an extensive experience in multiple styles. Choreographing for GVDT the past 6 years; Her pieces have earned GVDT top 3 and top 4 national finishes, NAIA Regional Championship, and several top 2 state placings
