Grand View University

Nick Mitchell has transformed Grand View University wrestling into a national powerhouse. As the program's first-ever Head Wrestling Coach, Mitchell launched the team during the 2008-2009 season. In just 17 years, the Vikings have risen to dominate the collegiate wrestling landscape.

Despite the program's historic success, Mitchell's focus remains on the bigger picture. "Our goal is not only to compete for national championships but to find out how good we can be. To achieve that, it takes a total team effort. Every athlete must commit to a Championship Lifestyle — striving for excellence on the mat, in the classroom, and in life.
