Grand View University

Sean Johnson begins his eighth season as a coach for the tight ends, previously serving as an offensive line coach for the Grand View Football Program. Johnson was the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at Des Moines Lincoln High School for three years prior to joining the Grand View staff.

He was a two-year starter on the offensive line at Scottsdale Community College from 1987 to 1988. He continued his playing career at Southwest Missouri State University (Missouri State University) where he was a two-year letter winner and was a part of back-to-back Gateway Conference Championship teams in 1989 and 1990. He graduated from Southwest Missouri State in 1992 with a bachelor of science degree.

Johnson is the president of operations for Associated Computer Systems in Des Moines. He resides in Ankeny with his wife, Stephanie, and has two children, a son, Bryce a sophomore in college, and a daughter, Bailey, who is a sergeant in the United States Air Force.
