Grand View University

Nick Linder begins his first year at Grand View as a defensive backs coach. Previously, Linder spent two seasons at San Diego State University as a graduate assistant where he worked primarily with defensive backs. Prior to his coaching stint with the Aztecs he was a student assistant at Iowa State University for three seasons. He also held coaching positions at Drake University and Saint Ambrose University as a secondary and special teams coach.

Linder earned his bachelor's degree in exercise sports science from Iowa State in 2004. He was a three-year letter winner at ISU where he excelled as a defensive back. He earned special teams MVP and was named a captain during his final season as a Cyclone. While at ISU, he was part of three bowl appearances in 2000, 2001, and 2002.
