Grand View University

Matt Woodley begins his first year at Grand as cornerbacks coach. Matt is also currently the head boys' basketball coach at Waukee High School as well as an elementary physical education teacher in the district.

Prior to Grand View, Woodley spent nine years coaching Division I basketball at the University of Denver, Middle Tennessee State University, and Washington State University.

Woodley played basketball at Drake University from 1995-2000. He was a team captain and a two-time All Conference selection. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Drake in 2000.

A West Des Moines, Iowa, native, Woodley was First Team All-State in three sports: football, basketball, and baseball.

Woodley resides in Clive with his wife Jennifer.
