Jake Munkwitz enters his second year with the Grand View Football program as the Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Assistant Coach. A Wisconsin native known for his leadership, player development, and strategic expertise, Munkwitz has a proven track record of success on the field.
During his time at Concordia, Munkwitz led the NSIC in numerous special teams categories, coached several All-NSIC linebackers, and mentored an NCAA Division II All-American kicker in 2018. His recruiting efforts also contributed to a significant roster size increase, growing from 95 student-athletes in 2016 to over 130 by 2023.
As a student-athlete, Munkwitz played 31 games at the NCAA Division II level, earning NSIC All-Academic and ADA Academic Achievement honors.
