Grand View University

Jones brings 35 years of coaching experience to the Grand View staff. He began his coaching career in 1971 as the defensive backs coach at Twin Cedars High School. Jones has coached at Hillsboro and Van Buren High Schools and Kemper Military School (Missouri). Jones most recently coached the offensive line at Prairie City-Monroe High School from 2003-06 and the Mustangs made three playoff appearances. Jones' has a career football coaching record of 169-149.

Jones attended Grand View Junior College in 1965-66. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and History from Northeast Missouri State University.

Jones resides in Prairie City with his wife Sharon. They have three children, Sara, Matt, and Molly, and five grandchildren.
