GV Shuts Out the Ravens in Sisam

DES MOINES, IOWA– The Grand View men's wrestling team delivered a dominant performance, shutting out Benedictine College 54-0. The Vikings won all ten matches, including six by fall and two by technical fall, in an impressive display of team strength.

125 lbs - Kaden Weber (Win by Major Decision, 13-4)

Kaden Weber opened the dual with a commanding major decision victory, controlling his match from start to finish to give Grand View an early 4-0 team lead.

133 lbs - Gabe Gonzales (Win by Fall, 1:47)

Gabe Gonzales kept the momentum rolling with a fall at the 1:47 mark. Gonzales's pin extended the Vikings' lead and set the tone for the rest of the dual.

141 lbs - Luke Fogleman (Win by Technical Fall, 21-1, 2:01)

Luke Fogleman dominated his opponent with a technical fall, scoring 21 points in just over two minutes. Fogleman's explosive performance showcased the Vikings' offensive firepower.

149 lbs - Elijah Larsen (Win by Fall, 0:38)

Elijah Larsen recorded the fastest fall of the night, pinning his opponent in just 38 seconds. Larsen's quick victory energized the team and gave Grand View a commanding lead.

157 lbs - E'lan Heard (Win by Fall, 0:20)

E'lan Heard followed with an even faster fall, defeating his opponent in just 20 seconds. Heard's explosive performance was the quickest pin of the dual and demonstrated the Vikings' dominance.

165 lbs - Dylan Whitt (Win by Fall, 1:02)

Dylan Whitt continued Grand View's run of falls with a pin at the 1:02 mark. Whitt's victory kept the Vikings' perfect record intact through six matches.

174 lbs - Danny Diaz (Win by Fall, 2:33)

Danny Diaz added another fall to the Vikings' impressive performance, pinning his opponent at the 2:33 mark. Grand View had yet to surrender a single team point.

184 lbs - Lucas Hageman (Win by Technical Fall, 17-1, 2:30)

Lucas Hageman delivered a dominant technical fall, scoring 17 points while allowing just one. Hageman's performance showcased the Vikings' technical superiority across all weight classes.

197 lbs - Garavous Kouekabakilaho (Win by Forfeit)

Garavous Kouekabakilaho added six team points with a forfeit victory at 197 pounds.

285 lbs - Shane Cook (Win by Forfeit)

Shane Cook closed out the dual with a forfeit victory at heavyweight, completing Grand View's sweep.

The Vikings delivered an outstanding performance, winning all ten matches with six falls, two technical falls, and one major decision. Grand View's wrestlers competed with intensity and skill throughout the dual, showcasing the team's strength and depth across all weight classes.
